Increase the Force of the Wind by Raising the Tower Upwards

Much of the improvement has come from the ability to make a very simple device for very cheap without losing any power. The saving are in the range of 60% to 100% of your electric bill. It’s actually common to save 80% with a modern home wind power generator you can build yourself. The cost is about $200 and often it’s much less than that. As such, harnessing the sun’s energy could be as simple as setting up a solar energy system (with a number of solar panels) and rewiring your home electrical circuit. Wind power, on the other hand, relies on mechanical devices to convert the acquired power to a serviceable form of energy. In the earlier times, windmills use wind power as a way to grind flour and other cereal products. This technology is still being used today in many parts of the world. However, it provides very little power, and certainly is not a good option for home or office. A more successful model is acquiring wind power using wind turbines. The good thing is that you can increase the force of the wind by raising the tower upwards. The higher the tower the greater the wind strength will be – be sure not to raise it too high though, you don’t want the propeller flying off! ? Once you have chosen your site the next step is building the wind propeller / turbine itself. Of course you can always head out and buy one, but by far the more rewarding and cost effective method is to build the wind turbine yourself – and the great news is that this is a lot easier than you think.
